Mission


At Digital Workplace we aim at providing the most up-to-date and high added value services to support Saint-Gobain businesses achieving their goals by:



  • Defining:

    • Collaboration service offering among our employees

    • the management of employee’s identities

    • the catalog of devices (end users devices, meeting room equipment etc..)



  • Conducting studies and project to transform legacy services to next generation services, mostly relying on Microsoft 365 service offer

  • Accompanying and give guidance to the Saint-Gobain businesses in the move toward the new employee services

  • Providing expertise and supports the businesses into their workplace projects

  • Coordinating a community of local IT Services teams.


Role


In the Digital Workplace team, the Digital Workplace M365 Service Owner will be reporting to the Messaging Services manager.


Part of Digital Workplace Collaboration team but liaising with other teams (Identity, Cybersecurity, Help Desk …) he will be in charge to provide tools that will help Saint-Gobain users in their professional activity.


He will particularly oversee Individual & collective productivity tools:



  • Teams telephony, Teams live event & brainstorming tools (whiteboard, klaxon)

  • Messaging & calendar: outlook client, exchange

  • Work organization: Bookings, OneNote, ToDo

  • Content creation: M365 apps, Loop, Forms, Project, Visio …


The Digital Workplace M365 service Owner will be concretely in charge of:



  • Define the service in response to users / business needs, analyze interactions with other applications and ensure alignment with Saint-Gobain security rules

  • Represent the service as key contact for GDI,

  • Build the Run of the service (Raci, incident management, roles and responsibilities of the support stakeholders, escalation matrix, ...),

  • Implement the evolutions and manages the changes (CAB, evolution requests, impact study ...),

  • Follow the roadmap of the service,

  • Follow the adoption of the service & ensure alignment with business requirements,

  • Define adoption strategy around the service (in association with adoption team),

  • Follow editor's or third parties relevant with the service (contract, service reviews, ...),

  • Lead projects of enhancement /evolution of the services

  • Manage service budget,

  • Maintain up-to-date Digital workplace service catalogue, service architecture and service configuration documentation.
