Press Office Lead - Amazon in France, Public Relations

Description

Amazon is seeking an experienced Press Office Lead to drive communications and media relations for our business in France. In this senior position, you will play a pivotal role within our Communications team, leading the day-to-day operations of the media relations office and spearheading proactive communication campaigns. The role requires a strategic communicator who can manage complex media relationships, shape narrative, and navigate challenging communications landscapes. You will be responsible for maintaining a robust pipeline of engaging stories about Amazon's work in France across multiple channels, while providing strategic counsel to senior leadership. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across various countries, cultures, and business units to advance Amazon's communication objectives.

This role demands strategic thinking and clear communication abilities. You will develop creative approaches to communications challenges, formulate clear viewpoints on complex issues, and create compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. As a natural relationship builder, you will serve as an influential voice within the organization, working closely with senior executives and stakeholders across the business.

• Lead Amazon's press office operations in France, managing both reactive and proactive media engagement
• Develop and execute corporate communications programs aligned with business objectives
• Provide strategic communications counsel to leadership team members
• Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts and stakeholders
• Create and maintain communication materials and messaging frameworks

Profil recherché


QUALIFICATIONS DE BASE
• Extensive experience working with journalists in corporate PR
• Excellent communication skills in both French and English (verbal and written)
• Track record of managing corporate communications programs
• Background in developing strategic communication plans
QUALIFICATIONS APPRÉCIÉES
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent
• Experience working in technology or retail industry communications
• Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and drive results
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of French media landscape
