Description
Amazon is seeking an experienced and creative PR professional for the role of Stores Communications Manager in France. You will work in a team responsible for proactive campaigns that increase awareness of new and established products and services, build excitement for large scale shopping occasions like Prime Day and Black Friday, and demonstrate the value customers get while shopping on Amazon. You will also focus on educating customers on the benefits of Prime and how it enriches people’s lives.
You will be responsible for building campaigns and momentum for exciting new and emerging product categories, and to develop and implement campaigns that drive brand warmth and affinity. You should demonstrate a proven track record of developing multiple measurable and effective consumer communications programmes for many different large, fast-moving organizations in France including managing complex issues, overseeing large scale campaigns with top earned media, significant social reach, and high-engagement influencer relations. This role collaborates closely with business, product, and other PR Managers to launch and provide on-going strategic communications support for key services and initiatives.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop Consumer and Stores PR campaigns for core retail areas covering retail strategy, products and services, and product placement
• Develop industry leading integrated Consumer campaigns around our biggest and most meaningful key retail moments (notably Prime Day and Black Friday)
• Support the management of Amazon social calendar and influencer campaigns in France
• Develop PR campaigns for membership programs – with a focus on Amazon Prime
• Act as a business partner to Amazon retail category leadership teams across key areas, collaborating with internal stakeholder teams to drive successful program launches
• Deliver communications counsel to internal executives on both short- and long-term challenges and opportunities
• Write communication plans, messaging, and media facing materials; pitch and secure top-tier media, including print, broadcast and online outlets
Profil recherché
QUALIFICATIONS DE BASE
• Demonstrated experience in consumer PR
• Experience of managing cross channel campaigns with both earned and social elements, including the use of paid strategies
• Experience with social media and influencer campaigns
• Business proficiency in English and French
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
QUALIFICATIONS APPRÉCIÉES
• Knowledge of French retail and e-commerce landscape
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
• Understanding of measurement and analytics tools
