Customer Service and Supply Chain Manager (W/M)

Description

Within the SG Glass International Business Unit, the purpose of this position is to manage the supply chain process, ensure customer satisfaction, and coordinate with various teams involved in the production and delivery of high-quality glass products, while continuously improving service and efficiency.


As Customer Service & Supply Chain Manager your missions will be:


For the Glass International Africa perimeter:



  • Coordinate the supplies from the different plants to ensure an optimized service

  • Supervises the full Supply Chain process, from the forecasts to the Sales: planning, transport, service to the customers

  • Orders follow-up: main customers contact for any commercial needs

  • Deliveries follow-up: documents, packaging, containers, ETD/ETA…

  • Secure payments with central controlling team: check drafts of letters of credit. Provide swifts to the plants and check that payments are properly cleared in SAP. Overdue payments follow-up.

  • Quality and service claims management with plants and technical central team

  • Customer reactive support, ensure a good communication with all interlocutors (agents, factories, project team, logistic…)

  • Ensure customers and plants full satisfaction


For the Glass Façade perimeter:



  • Supply-Chain management of our main added value products, such as diamant and coated products: forecasts consolidation, production planning management, Façade projects follow-up, SGG International deliveries. Close contacts with sales teams and central supply chain team are compulsory

  • Samples/mockups service: ensure the availability and quick delivery of samples and mockups, in cooperation with both SGG International and BU Façade marketing teams

  • Daily contacts with sales teams in Europe, production plannings coordination, projects forecasts, stock availability, alternatives proposals, mostly related to the sales of cool-lite products

  • Update or/and implementation of procedures and tools related to service and supply-chain (service charter, phase-out, coaters plannings…)

  • Participation to the monthly Façade review meetings with the European sales and specification teams

  • Participation to the monthly European Logistic Committee (CLE) with all the European supply chain managers
